As Governor Chukwuma Soludo receives global accolades on his 65th birthday, some eminent citizens of the state have joined in the celebration.
In a message to the occasion, the State Chairman, Local Government Service Commission, Vin Ezeaka (Esq) congratulated the governor for acquitting himself as an elder statesman servant leader who has touched the lives of many globally even before he became the CBN Governor.
Barrister Ezeaka described Governor Soludo as a charismatic leader who has kept his campaign promises of making Anambra State a liveable and prosperous homeland.
According to the LGSC boss, Anambra State under his watch, has witnessed tremendous changes which have heightened the clamour for him to be re-elected for a second term in office.
He noted with joy the positive fate of retirees who are receiving their pensions and gratuities as and when due.
On his part, an Obstetrician Gynae Oncologist, Nnamdi Azikiwe Teaching hospital Nnewi campus Associate Professor Osita Umeononihu joined millions of Soludo’s friends and associates globally to wish him a prosperous happy birthday celebration as he ably pilots the affairs of the state.
Prof. Umeononihu used the forum to pass a vote of confidence on his purposeful administration delivering dividends of democracy to the citizenry.
Awarding him an excellent pass mark in his service delivery to the state, the NMA award winner egged him to sustain his exemplary leadership to move the state to higher levels.
Ahead of the November 8th 2025 governorship election in the state, the medical expert appreciated all the governorship candidates for the election for their courage to vie for the exalted position and encouraged them to give their best but expects them to accept the outcome of the election in good fate which rests on the Anambra electorate
Contributing, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Mr. Tochukwu Obodogha congratulated the governor on his 65th birthday celebration and encouraged him to sustain his enviable administrative sagacity.
Mr. Obodogha expressed delight in the endorsement of the governor for a second term in office by the Councils of Anambra North Traditional rulers, their Anambra Central counterpart and other Stakeholders.
The Permanent Secretary listed some of the achievements of the governor to include the recruitment of 8,115 teachers for primary and post primary schools in the state, empowerment of thousands of Youths in the 1 youth 2 skills initiative of his administration etc.
He encouraged workers in the state to give their unalloyed support to the governor to sustain his good works including in making them receive their salary alerts 25th of every month.
In a related development, a community leader from Umuawulu Chief Chike- Oranye urged the celebrating governor to establish strong government presence in Umuawulu by rehabilitating the Umuawulu – Amaetiti road in Orumba North LGA and converting the Umuawulu Holy Cross High School to an institution of higher learning.
