The Chairman of Idemili North LGA, Chief Stanley Nkwoka, has stated that the people of Idemili North LGA are supportive of Gov. Soludo’s re-election bid given his spectacular leadership performance, which has transformed Anambra State, positively.
He made the remark during a rally organized by the people of Obosi to endorse Gov. Chukwuma Soludo for a second term in office, which took place at Obosi township stadium on August 4, 2025.
More so, Chief Stanley Nkwoka expressed optimism that the people of Idemili North LGA would cast their votes for Gov. Soludo in the forthcoming Anambra governorship election; and that he would win the electoral contest with landslide victory.
“I can confidently say that Idemili people who are majorly APGA members are ready for this election.
Obosi, an APGA stronghold, which has a great number of voters, is in Idemili North LGA, too.
“So there is no gainsaying the fact that we are fully prepared and highly motivated to cast our votes for Gov. Soludo and return him to office on November 8, 2025,” Nkwoka said..
Earlier, the Traditional Ruler of Obosi, Igwe Chidubem Iweka (Eze Iweka III), who was the host, praised Gov. Soludo immensely for his good leadership of Anambra State, which has earned him the sobriquet, “Olu atu egwu’.
Igwe Iweka acknowledged the fact that traditional rulers, who are royal fathers, are bound by convention to remain apolitical in order not to polarize the polity.
However, he stated that it’s incumbent on traditional rulers to lend support to good political leaders in order for them to continue transforming our country, positively.
“Gov. Soludo is a good political leader, who has recorded excellent performances and landmark achievements in diverse areas of governance in Anambra State.
“That’s why the three senatorial zones in the state have given him the flattering sobriquet “Olu atu egwu’. So my prayer for him is that God shall continue to guide him and pave way for him in the same way he is building Anambra State,” Igwe Iweka said.
The event attracted APGA big wigs and faithful and innumerable support groups from all the senatorial zones in the state.
Among the APGA Support Groups that thronged the arena for the event were Soludo Super Fan (SSF), Gallant voters, Soludo For Good Governance ( SSG), Divine Mandate Actualisation (DMA), Ifeadigo Vanguards, and others.
And the dignitaries that attended the Obosi people’s endorsement of Gov. Chukwuma Soludo for a second term in office were Dr. Law Mefor, the Anambra State Commissioner for Information; Mr. Ifeanyi Okoma, the Anambra State Commissioner for Works, Prof. Solu Chukwulobelu, the Secretary to the State Government; Hon Ike Cubana Iyiegbu; Ifeatu Obi-Okoye (Esq),who is the APGA Chairman in Anambra State, and others.
