Mayor Aguata Local Government, Dr Chibueze Ofobuike has poured encomiums on Ndi Akpo as they squeezed themselves hard to fixing roads in solidarity to Governor Soludo’s strive to developing Anambra State.
He said this in All Progressive Grand Alliance(APGA) political rally held at Agbelu Village Hall to elect Chief Emmanuel Nwachukwu as a replacement to late Senator Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah of Anambra South Senatorial Zone come August 16, 2025.

The Mayor said, “Akpo Community has special portion in the heart of Governor Chukwuma Soludo. It is not just about the name Akpo, but about doggedness to fixing roads within the community.
“Road project is capital intensive, so for community to embark on such project, not one, two or three but many is amazing, unprecedented.
“It is good we recall that it was during commissioning of college road fixed by the community that Soludo flagged up construction of Uga, Amesi, Akpo, Ogboji Road, with bridge.

“The construction work is ongoing while the bridge is in use already. Soludo is an economist of international repute. He takes doggedness to making things work out seriously. That is why Akpo Community is dear to him.”
He thanked Ndi Akpo for being supportive to APGA Government since inception, yet asked them to expertise their support.
“It used to be 70, 80 percent in the past, this time around, I am expecting 99 percent.
“Give it to me, I will bring Soludo on a thank you visit with more projects execution.”
Adding his voice, Member Representing Aguata 1 Constituency, State House of Assembly, Chief Anayo Okpaleke reminded Ndi Akpo that Uga, Amesi, Akpo, Ogboji Road under construction now was awarded during the administration of former Governor Mbadinuju.
“He ruled Anambra State between 1999 and 2003, yet not even a trip of sand was dropped on road.
“Governors came and went, yet nothing happened until Soludo’s emergence. His superlative performance in governance is being attested by even those in opposition.
“The only way we can say thank you and ask for more is by coming out enmass on Saturday to cast our vote to APGA, the cock column.”
President General, Akpo Development Association(ADA), Nze Henry C. Dim who witnessed the occasion expressed felicity on Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s performance in governance.
He emphasized that Anambra State has never had it as good as this.
“Governor Soludo is one governor that came into office, meeting treasury that has not much to start with, yet did not borrow for want of better loan offer, in consideration of posterity.
“The same governor employed over 8000 teachers within his first six months, over 1000 health workers, yet closing road infrastructure deficit holding the state head down years before now.
“In fact, Soludo is doing well and deserves our support.
He pleaded with Ndi Akpo irrespective of party affiliation or divide to appreciate good work as they cast their votes for APGA Candidate, Chief Emmanuel Nwachukwa.
The occasion had APGA faithful in attendance, prominent among them included, Nze Cyprian Okpala, Obi of Akpo, Akpo Ward Campaign Chairman, Mr Echezona Nwokedi, APGA Chairman, Akpo Ward, Mr Onyeka Muoneke.
