The Pro Chancellor, Tansian University Umunya and two term Deputy Vice Chancellor Academics Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Prof. Ellis Idemobi has okayed the state advancement 34 years since after its creation.
In a press briefing in Awka on the epoch making event, Prof.Idemobi applauded Governor Chukwuma Soludo for moving the state to enviable heights in the first term of his administration.
According to the academic, some of the legacy projects of his administration so far include the building of a new government house and governor’s lodge, transformation of all sectors of the economy, among others.
He lent his voice to the call for the governor’s re-election at the November 8th governorship election in the state.
In the education sector, Prof. Idemobi disclosed that the state has moved forward in the proliferation of higher institutions and the successes recorded which have heightened the entrepreneurial profile of the state beyond the shores of Nigeria.
The University Don spoke of the controlled crisis in the Tansian University where he operates as its Pro Chancellor and the dignified status which in its faith based capacity, has produced worthy ambassadors.
On his part, the President Anambra Chambers of Commerce, Industries Mines And Agriculture, Pharmacist Uche Apakama appreciated the giant strides made by Anambra State more than its contemporaries created alongside it in 1991.
According to the Fellow of Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria doubling as the Chief Executive Officer of PAXS Pharmaceutical Limited, the state has produced credible and indomitable leaders since its creation whose resilient Igbo spirit moved the state to enviable heights.
He noted with pride that Anambra State is celebrating resilience, success, and excellence found in its leaders and notable individuals alive and deceased who have reshaped its destiny on the path of greatness.
The celebrated FPSN guru disclosed that in spite of the paucity of federal government presence in the state, the entrepreneurial resilient spirit of the Anambra man is being showcased in the visible infrastructure in the state.
