The Mayor of Nnewi North Local Government Area, Hon. Echezona Anazodo, hosted the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, and his Deputy, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim, on October 28, for a one-day project inspection tour.

Upon arrival, the Governor and his entourage proceeded directly to the Adili Hotel Road construction site to assess the level of compliance and adherence to established standards for the ongoing work.

During the inspection, Governor Soludo expressed his satisfaction with the projects, specifically commending the Mayor for his consistent oversight in ensuring that all necessary standards were met. Addressing the large crowd that had turned out to receive him, the Governor assured the people of Nnewi that the town would soon experience a ‘massive infrastructural revolution’, asserting that this had already begun, with more projects on the way.

The Governor, then, took the opportunity to inspect the ongoing construction of the F-Line Market Road and its associated drainage control channels in Agboedo Market. This particular project is fully sponsored by the administration led by Hon. Anazodo. Governor Soludo described the work as a clear demonstration of the Mayor’s full commitment to consolidating the ‘Solution Agenda’ in Nnewi North.

The visit further reaffirmed the readiness of the people of Nnewi to cast their votes en masse for the APGA government in the forthcoming election on November 8.

Among the notable dignitaries present for the inspection were the President-General of Nzuko-Ora Nnewi, Hon. Prince Jude Osumuo; the APGA Chairman in Nnewi North, Hon. Tony Muodielo; ward councillors, market leaders, and other senior government officials.
