The electorate of Amawbia Ward 3 has formally expressed its commitment to support the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the forthcoming November 8 Governorship election in Anambra State.

The declaration was made during a strategic mobilization tour organized by Chief Victor Oye, former National Chairman APGA; Chief Celestine Anere, MD OCHA Brigade; and other prominent stakeholders in support of the re-election bid of His Excellency, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, and his running mate, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim.

In his address during the tour, Chief Oye described Governor Soludo as the most competent and visionary candidate for the governorship, citing his proven track records and ongoing transformational projects in Amawbia and across Anambra State.

He urged Ndu Amawbia to come out in large numbers on Saturday, November 8, to vote overwhelmingly for APGA, emphasizing that Amawbia has always stood with APGA and must continue to do so in the interest of the community, state’s future and that of the next generation.

Assuring that Governor Soludo values and will not take the support of Ndu Amawbia for granted, Chief Oye, former National Chairman of APGA, also expressed appreciation to party loyalists and supporters from other political affiliations within Amawbia who have chosen to align with Governor Soludo’s re-election based on his exceptional governance and achievements. He encouraged them to translate their support into decisive electoral action at the polls.

Chief Anere, Managing Director of the Operation Clean and Healthy Anambra (OCHA) Brigade, reiterated that the November 8 election is a collective mandate of the Amawbia community to ensure the continued leadership of Governor Soludo.

He urged residents, particularly the youth, to refrain from actions that may disrupt the electoral process, assuring that security agencies will be on high alert to guarantee a peaceful, safe, and credible election.
APGA stakeholders, Mr. Uchenna Nwankwo, who doubles as Chairman of APGA Ward 3 and Chairman of Ngene Village, and Mr. Chukwunenye Maduka, in their respective remarks, urged the electorate to unite and deliver a bloc vote in favour of Governor Soludo to ensure continued access to the dividends of democracy.

Reacting, Mr Ifeanyi Nwalusi, Chairman of Umuoneli Kindred, Ward 3 and Administrative Director of Anambra State Internal Revenue Services (AIRS), threw the kindred’s full support behind Governor Soludo’s re-election bid, citing the governor’s impressive track record of delivering impactful projects to the kindred and Ward 3.

Nwalusi highlighted notable achievements, including the construction of roads, installation of transformers, and strategic appointments of kindred members to key political offices, declaring that the kindred is solidly behind Governor Soludo’s second-term bid.

The attendees, overjoyed with Soludo’s unprecedented achievement, chanted songs in endorsement of his re-election.
