The Mayor of Onitsha North Local Government Area, Hon. Nweze Tony Nwora, has congratulated the Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, on his resounding victory in the just-concluded governorship election.
In a statement issued on behalf of the people of Onitsha North, Mayor Nwora described the Governor’s triumph as a reflection of the people’s confidence in his leadership, vision, and developmental strides across the state.
He noted that Ndi Anambra have once again demonstrated their trust in Governor Soludo’s administration and his commitment to good governance and sustainable progress.
Commending voters in Onitsha North for their peaceful and orderly conduct during the election, the Mayor reaffirmed the area’s unwavering support for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), emphasizing that the victory belongs to the people.
He also appreciated officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, and party faithful for their efforts toward a credible and peaceful process.
Looking ahead, Mayor Nwora expressed optimism that Governor Soludo’s second term will further consolidate the gains of his first tenure, particularly in infrastructure, education, and economic development.
