Final year students of the Department of French, Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe (NOCEN), have defended their research projects for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The defence, held on Sept. 11, saw the students present their research findings before a panel of examiners.
The Head of Department, Dr Vanessa G. Udeh, said the students demonstrated confidence, clarity of expression and proficiency in the French language during their presentations.
She commended the students for their performance and acknowledged the dedication and guidance provided by lecturers throughout the research process.
Udeh said the session featured academic discussions on the students’ research topics, adding that the defence marked the completion of an important phase of their studies.
