Hon. James Ibezimako Akpudo, APGA candidate for the Anambra State House of Assembly, Onitsha South Constituency II, has undertaken an intervention on a badly damaged section of Modebe Avenue, Odoakpu, Onitsha, to ease movement for residents and other road users.
Akpudo carried out the intervention on Sept. 15 by filling the deteriorated portion of the road, located in front of Sacred Heart, with stones and broken blocks to improve access along the affected stretch.
The damaged section had become difficult to navigate, particularly for motorists and pedestrians who use the route regularly.
The work provides immediate relief to road users while addressing the most difficult portion of the affected stretch pending more extensive rehabilitation.
The intervention highlights the importance of timely attention to local infrastructure challenges that directly affect daily movement and access within communities.
Residents and motorists using the route are expected to experience easier passage following the work.
