The Executive Secretary, Anambra State Primary Healthcare Development Agency (ASPHCDA), Pharm Chisom Uchem has made a supportive supervision visit to Primary Healthcare Centre (PHC), Umunobe Ogbunka in Orumba South Local Government Area (LGA) of the state.
Pharm Uchem who visited the health facility with some ASPHCDA team members, frowned at the improper disposal of medical waste which was left lying around in the facility.
She cautioned that used medical items must be disposed properly to ensure for a clean and healthy environment, with emphasis on the importance of cleanliness.
The ASPHCDA Boss explained that the visit was to enable her monitor activities and get firsthand information of happenings in the health facility.
She urged health workers on effective service delivery as the goal of the state government was to ensure for adequate healthcare at the grassroots.
