All arrangements are in place to welcome the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, on a state visit to Anambra State on Thursday, May 8th, 2025.
According to a press statement by the Commissioner for Information, Dr. Law Mefor, during this landmark visit, the President will commission key projects initiated by the Soludo administration, highlighting the state’s remarkable progress and development under the leadership of Governor Chukwuma Soludo.
He further emphasised that in preparation for the high-level visit, the Anambra State Government anticipates minor adjustments to traffic flow and commuter schedules. The government urges residents to cooperate fully with security agencies and relevant authorities leading up to the visit, ensuring a smooth and successful event.
“We are excited to welcome Mr President to Anambra State and assure him of a warm and hospitable reception.
“We appreciate your understanding, cooperation, and support in ensuring a hitch-free and memorable visit by the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“Together, we shall give Mr President and his delegation a resounding welcome,” Dr. Mefor noted.
