According to him, We made provisions for it, after the clearing of the sands by this back loader and the sweeping by these sweepers, the water tanker would come and clear the road with water to ensure sand free roads.
“Sands gathered would be transported to Bida and creek road for the purpose of filling potholes to ensure traffic flow,” Dunu posited.
On the side of tippers who transport the already dredged sand from the dumped spot, causing nuisance on that particular Niger Street by dropping sand which at the end of the day turned out to be heap of sand, Hon. Dunu said that all necessary actions have been taken in the past but all to no avail, pointing out that a company has been employed to be clearing the sand on daily basis.
