The Anambra State Commissioner for information, Chief Law Mefor has said that Gov. Chukwuma Soludo’s galore of endorsements for his re-election bid is indicative of his popularity, which is hinged on his good governance of the state.
Chief Mefor made the comment on April 4, 2025 at the Idemili North LGA Headquarters during the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) endorsement rally for Gov. Soludo’s re-election.
“Governor Soludo is doing a great and fantastic job that is why you see a flurry of endorsements for him.
“NANS Anambra state chapter gave him N2 million to buy form, Anambra youths contributed N10 million to support his governorship candidature and sixty support groups raised N30 million to support him for a reelection.
“These gifts given to him by these groups are their acknowledgements of his good leadership of Anambra state, ” Mefor said.
Chief Mefor added that APGA has adopted Gov. Soludo as its governorship candidate in the November 2025 Anambra governorship election solely because Gov. Soludo has acquitted himself very well in office.
He advised the opposition political parties in Anambra state to adopt Gov. Soludo as their respective governorship candidate instead of trying to usurp his position.
