Igwebuike Grammar School, Awka has emerged the overall state champion in this year’s (2025) Children’s Day Celebration public schools march past competition held at the Solution Funcity, Awka.
The school designated as one of the smart schools in the state is not a stranger to winning laurels in previous march past competitions in the state.
Elated by the development, the principal of the college, Mrs. Amaka Ifebili in a press statement in Awka felicitated with the students and their games mistress for doing the school proud and attributed it to hardwork, diligence and discipline.
Mrs. Ifebili commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo and his wife, Dr. Mrs Nonye Soludo for their passion for education and their promotion of the rights and privileges of the Anambra child.
According to the principal, the visit of the students and teachers to the Solution Funcity to savour the attractive facilities in the complex, will remain evergreen in their memories and a worthwhile experience which has clearly shown them the love the governor and the wife have for them.
She used the forum to felicitate with every Anambra child on this year’s children’s Day Celebration, and urged them to remain focused and aspire to be worthy leaders of tomorrow.
