The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, visited Anambra State for a working trip during which he commissioned several notable projects, including the Solution Fun City and the New Government House/Lodge developed by Governor Prof. Chukwuma Soludo. Additionally, the President visited Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) to inaugurate the Emeka Anyaoku Institute for International Studies and Diplomacy.
At the Solution Fun City, President Tinubu’s presence generated excitement among school children and visitors who welcomed him, eager to see him and enjoy the remarkable attractions within the park.
While inaugurating the Fun City, the President described Governor Soludo as a visionary leader dedicated to infrastructural development. He said, “The key light in our National Anthem speaks of service, and that is you, Prof. Soludo… the power of one man.
“I am delighted to visit and commission some legacy projects by your state government. I come as a friend to the great people of Anambra State and the Southeast. I commend the Anambra State Government for its proactive efforts to improve security.
“I assure you that the Federal Government will continue to partner with the state and the Southeast to ensure the safety and security of our people and their future,” he added.
Responding, Governor Soludo expressed his gratitude for the President’s visit to inaugurate these landmark projects. He described the occasion as historic and significant, emphasizing that it symbolizes a new era of collaboration and shared progress between the federal and state governments under a unified progressive ideology.
“What you have commissioned today, Mr. President, are mere symbols of the audacity of our dreams for a new Anambra State. As the Americans say, you haven’t seen anything yet,” he concluded.
Additionally, the Commissioner for Culture, Entertainment, and Tourism, Mr. Don Onyenji, emphasized that Governor Soludo is a great thinker who will ensure that Solution Fun City is not only well-managed but also sustainably developed for the enjoyment of the public and the growth of tourism.
