The International Association of World Peace Advocates has given due recognitions to some eminent Nigerians for their inestimable roles in championing peace in their respective professions and enterprises.
Some eminent citizens of the state namely the Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Somtochukwu Udeze, the Secretary to the State Government, Prof.Solomon Chukwulobelu, among others bagged revered recognitions at the Finotel Hotel, Awka.
The Speaker represented by a state lawmaker, Honourable Tony Muobuike appreciated the organizers for the honour given to him and promised to sustain his peace overtures to foster development in the state and beyond.
The lawmaker spoke in practical terms the convivial relationship existing between the executive and the legislature which has promoted peace and the passage of people oriental laws in the state.
In her acceptance speech, Dr. Linda Agwunobi honoured as one of the United Nations Peace Volunteers and decorated with the Award of Eminent Peace Ambassador thanked the international association for recognizing her societal efforts to promote peace.
Dr. Agwunobi promised to leverage on her recognition to impact more towards touching the lives of people in the society.
She used the forum to acknowledge the giant strides Governor Chukwuma Soludo is making in the state.
She expects the citizenry to reciprocate the gesture by supporting his vision.
In a similar vein, Evangelist Blessing Eze also bagged an Eminent Peace Ambassador Award with full appreciation to the organizers of the event for their humanitarian disposition.
She also used the forum to commend Governor Soludo for his good governance which has touched many lives in the state.
Contributing, Miss Chikamso Okolie an actress who bagged a Global Youth Award as Youth Peace Advocate, also thanked the organizers of the event for appreciating excellence and good works in the society.
She promised to promote peace in the society through the social media and other networking strategies.
The state President, International Association Of World Peace Advocates, Ambassador Zeal Okolie in a chat with the press, solicited for peace in the society.
According to her, the organization seeks for the promotion of peace and encourages individuals with the zeal and passion to flow with its ideology and vision.
A participant at the occasion, Mr. Michael Chukwuedo in another press interview, appreciated the organizers for rewarding excellence and also used the forum to commend Governor Soludo for his remarkable achievements in the state.
