The Chairman of Blord Group Conglomerate, Linus Williams, says plans are underway to manufacture “Blunt” branded smartphone accessories and electronic gadgets In Ebenebe, Anambra State
According to him, the initiative proposed to take off in 2026 is to further expand their investment drive, business development strategies as well as create employment opportunities for youths
Linus Williams, the Chairman of Blord Group, stated while fielding questions from newsmen at the launch of its Blunt Smartphone Chargers, PowerBank, MP3 products etc at Hilton Leisure Hotel, Awka
“Blunt products will be manufactured in Nigeria.The way things are going, let say 2026, we should be having completely made in Nigeria products”
He added that the Firm was making investments towards repackaging of the products imported from China across a broad range with initial employment of over 500 youths.
While describing the theme of the launch ” Enough Is Enough For Fake Products” as apt, he said they were on track to introduce the products to offer Nigerians quality and durable gadgets.
“We launched this products to eradicate the fake Chargers in Nigeria. Nigerians have suffered a lot. For over how many years they have been importing fake Chargers for our usage, we have put a stop to that today”
He expressed confidence that establishment of the factory will be done in compliance with international standards to provide solutions to concerns such as sub standard and fake products in markets.
The Chairman affirmed his commitment to enhance production of Nigeria’s Blunt branded products to further boost the nation’s competitiveness in global manufacturing sector
Some of the guests including White Smoke, Osinachi Blord and Iyke Best commended the initiative and testified to the quality of the products.
They described the products as exceptional and amazing, encouraging other wealthy citizens of the state to embrace the think home philosophy by investing in the state
Highlight of the event was unveiling of the products which attracted patronages from distributors, retailers and guests
