The Enugu Otu Community is agog with great ecstasy over the completion of its state – of- the -art general hospital completed by Governor Chukwuma Soludo.
The building of the hospital is a product of necessity and has erased the old chilling stories of pregnant women giving birth to their babies inside boats while sojourning long distances to access deliveries.
In a press statement from an illustrious son of the community, Chief Maxwell Iwunor on the development, he narrated the ordeals being faced by residents in the community due to poor road network in the area which Governor Soludo has addressed by constructing an access road to the hospital.
According to Chief Iwunor, people from neighbouring communities can access the hospital to obtain medical attention.
Happily, he announced that aged people from the age of 70 and above receive free medical treatment in the hospital courtesy of Governor Soludo’s magnanimity.
Given the governor’s empathy for the community members who were part of his historic coronation as “Oluatuegwu’ by the Anambra North Traditional Rulers Council, they have resolved to reciprocate his kind gestures by promising to give him their unalloyed support for his re- election at the November 8th governorship election in the state.
