A former Head of Local Government Administration for Idemili North LGA, Chief Chike Obuekwe has passed a vote of confidence on Governor Chukwuma Soludo for prioritizing the upgrading of Awka as the administrative capital of Anambra State.
Chief Obuekwe in a press statement in Awka, acknowledged government presence in Awka in the consummation of the Government House and Governor’s Lodge projects, Solution Fun city Project, and other eye marked projects.
The former council boss urged for the completion of the Arroma- Ifite Awka flyover before this year’s Christmas celebration for ease of vehicular flow during the period.
He called for the construction of another vehicular flyover at the Regina Caeli junction Awka- Onitsha expressway to contain the vehicular/human flow of traffic along the route.
In all, Chief Obuekwe expressed delight in the development thrust of the Soludo administration and wished the governor good luck ahead of the November 8th governorship election in the state.
