The Mayor of Onitsha North Local Government Area, Hon. Nweze Tony Nwora, has congratulated Mrs. Mimi Ifeoma Azikiwe (Esq), on her swearing-in as the member representing Onitsha North 1 Constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly.
In a statement issued after the inauguration, Mayor Nwora described Azikiwe’s victory and assumption of office as a reflection of the overwhelming confidence the people of Onitsha North 1 have in the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
He assured that his administration would work closely with the new lawmaker to ensure that the constituency enjoys greater democratic dividends, noting that her representation will further strengthen the voice of the people in the state Assembly.
Mayor Nwora expressed confidence in Mrs Azikiwe’s capacity to provide quality representation and commended her dedication to public service.
While wishing her a successful tenure, he prayed for God’s protection and guidance upon her as she embarks on her legislative responsibilities for the benefit of Onitsha North 1 Constituency.
