As Governor Chukwuma Soludo continues to receive accolades for his exemplary leadership, the Uba Planks and Joints Association Limited, Bridge Head Market Onitsha has pledged its unalloyed support to the administration that has offered them quality dividends of democracy.
The Association members who converged in Awka for a brief solidarity meeting for the governor, appreciated him for giving them a voice and sense of belonging in pursuit of their legitimate business.
Chief Emmanuel Okey Obunso the Chairman of the group, spoke to the press in Awka after their meeting.
According to him, Governor Soludo has alleviated their plight by rehabilitating the Niger Street Road in Onitsha which dilapidated condition had hitherto dissuaded developers from assessing the market.
Chief Obunso commended Governor Soludo for his impactful administration which has touched all sectors of the state economy and all the 3 Senatorial Zones of the state.
He announced the effective participation of the association during Soludo’s coronation as “Oluatuegwu’ in Otuocha by the Anambra North Traditional Rulers Council led by His Royal Majesty Igwe (Prof) Benjamin Okeji who doubles as the Deputy Chairman, Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council and Chairman Southern Nigeria Traditional Rulers Council, Anambra State Chapter
During the occasion in his confirmation, the group gave their massive support to the governor and canvassed for his re-election for a second term in office.
The chairman promised that the association has resolved to give their full support to the governor by pledging to vote massively for him in the forth coming November 8th governorship election in the state.
