The Ebonyi Community residing in Onitsha South Local Government Area and Anambra State as a whole has promised to give Governor Chukwuma Soludo a massive support during November 8 poll.
The President General, Ebonyi Town Union Association in the state, Amb. Moses Igwe said this at the Political Rally to reelect Governor Soludo into office held at Godwin Achebe Stadium, Fegge in Onitsha.
Igwe who said that Ebonyi Community has the major population in the state, added that only Onitsha South residents were capable of giving Soludo more than 3,000 votes not to talk of other Ebonyians spread all over the state.
The PG described Governor Soludo’s leadership as an inclusive one as he has no room for discrimination.
According to him, people of Ebonyi were top beneficiaries of the developmental strides of Soludo as many of them enjoy free antenatal care, child delivery, education as well as other newly built infrastructural facilities the residents of the state benefit.
According to him, Ebonyians benefitted massively from the new lock-up shops Soludo built at Ekwulobia in Aguata.
“The shops were built by Prof. Soludo’s administration and allocated to people free of charge. In fact, what he did in the state is more than what we expected. So we will all ensure he is reelected for a greater development,” Igwe added.
He posited that Governor Soludo does not discriminate non indigenes of the state while commending him for appointing an Ebonyi man, Mr. Monday Nwokoye as the Director General of Anti Tout in the state.
Igwe said that Ebonyi Community in the state take the governor as their son as he was born and brought up at Nkalagu in Ebonyi State.
He, however, urged him to pay a working visit to Nkalagu town to build a structure for an enduring legacy.
Also, the Coordinator, Ebonyi State Community in Onitsha South, Mr. Emeka Endurance described Mr. Governor as youth friendly governor.
Emeka noted that himself and other Ebonyians in Onitsha benefitted from Soludo’s 1 Youth 2 Skills programme which has helped in massive job creation amongst the youths.
He noted that Soludo also sponsored the 8,300 youths he empowerd in 1 Youth 2 Skills programme into Nnamdi Azikiwe University (NAU), Awka Business School so that they will learn how to survive the heat of Country’ s economy.
According to him, the empowerment has helped to raise many young millionaires in Anambra State.
He also said that the Ebonyi community which ymade of he 30% of the population of the state has determined to make positive influence in the state instead of negative one.
The community coordinator added that one of the positive effects of their population is their commitment to reelect Soludo into office for the second tenure.
He noted that the governor has turned refuge dumps to site seeing as well as constructing 16 roads in Fegge, General Hospitals and other world class projects.
He added that Soludo has crested his name in gold because of innumerable infrastructural facilities he put in place in the state.
Emeka, then, urged Ebonyians and all residents of the state to ensure they vote Prof. Soludo so that he will complete the good works.
