The First Lady, Federal Republic of Nigeria- Her Excellency, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu (CON), has on October 6, flagged-off the integrated campaign for Measles-Rubella (MR), Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), Polio, Routine Immunization (RI) vaccines and Neglected Tropical Diseases Intervention.
The event was held in Abuja by the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare through the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency (NPHCDA).
It had in attendance Dignitaries, Guests and Partners all from across the Nation, and targets 106 million children, regardless of their previous immunization status.
This initiative marks the commencement of Measles-Rubella vaccination campaign in States across the Nation, which would commence the campaign in phases to ensure that no eligible child is left behind.
Anambra State, among other South Eastern State would be commencing the Measles-Rubella vaccination campaign in First Quarter 2026.
