The Solution Parents League has endorsed Governor Chukwuma Soludo for a second term, praising his free education policy for easing the financial burden on Anambra parents.

The endorsement took place during the 2025 Teachers’ Day celebration held at Ekwueme Square, Awka, where a large crowd of parents and teachers gathered to show solidarity and appreciation for the governor’s efforts in transforming the education sector.

Speaking at the event, the Chairman of Solution Parents League, Mr. Francis Udeoba, commended Governor Soludo for his achievements in education since assuming office. He particularly lauded the introduction of free education from crèche to senior secondary school, describing it as a major relief for parents struggling with economic challenges.

According to Udeoba, the policy has enabled many children who could not afford schooling to now access education with ease, thanks to the governor’s commitment to ensuring that no child in Anambra is left behind.

He also applauded Soludo for addressing the problem of teacher shortages by employing over 8, 000 teachers within months of taking office, thereby ensuring that public schools across the state are adequately staffed with qualified educators.

Udeoba noted that the improved academic performance of students in Anambra’s public schools is clear evidence of the positive impact of Soludo’s education reforms.

The event reached its peak when the Solution Parents League presented a cheque of ₦3.130 million in support of Governor Soludo’s re-election campaign, reaffirming their confidence in his leadership and commitment to the future of education in the state.
