The Traditional Ruler of Enugu Ukwu, Igwe Ralph Ekpe, has announced January 3rd, 2026 as the community’s “Igu Aro’ Cultural Fiesta.
In a press statement in Enugwu-Ukwu, Igwe Ekpe said that the “Igu Aro’ will open the doors for the showcasing of the community’s cultural heritage.
According to the royal father, indigenes of the Enugwu-Ukwu community and beyond are expected to savour the rich culture of Ndi Enugwu-Ukwu and cross fertilize ideas with one another for the promotion of Igbo language and culture.
The royal father used the forum to lament on the unprecedented insecurity situation in the country and called on the federal government to rise to occasion to rid nation of unwarranted elements.
