President General, Akpo Development Association(ADA), Nze Henry C. Dim, has called on Ndi Anambra in diaspora wishing to visit home at this Yuletide, to freely do, saying that Soludo’s security arrangement is equal to the task of securing Ndi Anambra.

He said this in an interface with information officers, at Akpo, in Aguata LGA, on December 15.

The PG said, “Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s security initiatives of introducing Agunaechemba cum Udo Ga Achi mantra has made Ndi Anambra sleep with two eyes closed lately.

“It has also reduced to abysmal state, activities of marine attendants, who make our youths think that there is shortcut to success. Get rich quick syndrome(Ego mbute), is a scam.

“It is deceitful, that those preparing charms for criminals to disappear when the game is up, do not get out of police net when they are caught, even with their charms.

“Thank God, our youths are understanding these realities through activities of Udo Ga Achi mantra. Soludo has done marvelously well in the area of security, no reasonable doubt about this.

“I am not losing sights of pockets of disturbing security news at interval. It does not negate the fact that Anambra State is the safest State in Nigeria today, hence even the Western world do not have security eldorado.

According to him, the duty we owe is to walk with the government of Anambra State to improving on the security arrangement on ground and sustain it.

“We need to start from our immediate homes. Watch your sons as I watch mine, know when they start taking opium that intoxicate or keep company of people that do.

“You need to know when they start discussing riches, life comfort, mansions, exotic cars. See those discussions as red flag, especially when they are not working hard to making future bright. If your son and mine are properly directed, we will be in better position to direct streets of our residence.

“Security is everybody’s business. Let us prioritize it. We should not lose sight of the fact that contributions of our daughters to insecurity of our environs are enormous. Daughters should dress to be addressed accordingly. A daughter without known source of income owning a phone of N1.5 Million and above, is questionable.”

However, PG advocates prompt and proper remunerations to security operatives to making them live comfortable life and remove them from being compromised.”

He pleaded with government to organize workshops, symposiums often to making sure that men of sound minds with rhetoric powers speak to them on dangers of compromising security.

He made reference to the Holy Book which says, “if a man is made security guard to city and he notices dangers coming to the city without alerting the city, dangers will come. The danger will come, consume the people but God will require their blood on the hands of the security guard(Ezekiel 33:1 – 6).

“Surely, if those being recruited into local vigilance group understand this, they will hardly compromise security.”
