The Permanent Secretary deployed to Ministry of Youth Development, Mr. Ifeatu Emeodi has resumed duty on January 13, 2026.
On arrival by 10 am, he was welcomed by the outgoing Permanent Secretary, Engr. Martin Agbili who was redeployed to the Ministry of Works and other staff members of the ministry.
The new Permanent Secretary was introduced to the management of the ministry and was conducted round the office environment where he identified some challenges.
He, however, said that he is going to have a meeting with the commissioner with a view to seeing how the problems would be mitigated, and urged the management and staff of the ministry to cooperate with him in building the ministry.
Earlier, the Parish Priest from Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Ngozika Estate, Rev. Fr. Chigozie Jidere who celebrated a Holy Mass in the office conference hall, prayed to God to give him the wisdom to discharge his duties in the ministry.
