Hon. Kenechukwu Mike Offor (Jnr), an aspirant for the House of Representatives seat for the Anambra East and West Federal Constituency, has reaffirmed his dedication to advancing comprehensive infrastructure renewal throughout the constituency if elected.
‎
Offor made this commitment during an interaction with journalists at his residence in Mmiata Anam, Anambra West Local Government Area, emphasizing his readiness to provide impactful representation and foster meaningful development in the predominantly riverine constituency.
‎
Running under the banner of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Offor said that his legislative agenda would prioritize infrastructure development, youth empowerment through educational programs, road rehabilitation, enhanced healthcare facilities, and upgrading of school infrastructure.
‎
He pointed out that the unique challenges faced by communities in the Anambra East and West Federal Constituency necessitated intentional and sustained federal intervention.
‎
“Our people deserve quality infrastructure that can unlock economic opportunities, enhance livelihoods, and restore confidence in governance. I am committed to pursuing vigorous legislative advocacy and attracting federal presence to our constituency,” he said.
‎
Offor also promised to uphold an open-door policy if elected, assuring constituents of his accessibility and responsiveness regardless of their social class or background.
‎
Regarding the ongoing infrastructure transformation in the state, the ADC candidate commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s leadership, describing it as visionary and focused on development.
‎
He noted that the reforms and infrastructure initiatives under Governor Soludo have positioned the state for sustainable growth and suggested that effective collaboration between state and federal governments would further strengthen these advancements.
‎
Specifically, he lauded the dualization of the 3-3 Nkwelle–Aguleri Road, highlighting such strategic project as evidence of the government’s commitment to improving connectivity and stimulating economic activities throughout the state.
‎
However, Offor urged the state government to consider building a bridge linking the Akpaka axis to Onono to facilitate transportation and aid in transporting agricultural produce from rural areas to urban markets.
‎
The aspirant further assured constituents that transparency, accountability, and measurable impact would be foundational elements of his representation at the National Assembly if entrusted with their mandate.
