The newly appointed Secretary to the State Government, Mrs Chiamaka Nnake, has bid farewell to staff of the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning where she served as the commissioner.
In her message, Mrs Nnake expressed gratitude for the good working relationship she enjoyed with the staff, urging them to maintain the same positive attitude. She acknowledged that it was difficult for her to leave the Ministry, but has to move to a new opportunity.
She advised the staff to continue their good work, saying, “ you never know who is watching, even if nothing happens, you have become a better person”.
The Permanent Secretary, Mrs Chinyere Nwabachili, in her response highlighted her trailblazing achievement as the state’s first female Secretary to the State Government. Mrs Nwabachili said that the staff were proud of Mrs. Nnake’s appointment, and encouraged her to continue excelling in her new role, noting that “hard work pays”. She prayed for more of God’s graces on Mrs Nnake, the new Secretary to the Anambra State Government.
