On a sacred Sunday morning, over two thousand years ago, the world was forever changed by the faith and courage of three remarkable women: Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome. They embarked on a poignant journey to Jesus Christ’s tomb, carrying spices to anoint His body.
As they walked, memories of Jesus’ teachings and compassion filled their thoughts. But upon reaching the tomb, they found the stone rolled away and the tomb empty. Confusion and fear gripped their hearts.
In the midst of their bewilderment, two radiant angels appeared, saying, “Why seek the living among the dead? He is not here; He has risen!” The women were overwhelmed – fear, awe, and joy.
Filled with newfound hope, they rushed to share the incredible news: “He is risen! Christ lives!” Their voices trembled with excitement. They were the first to witness the miraculous resurrection, fulfilling prophecies and dawnning a new era of faith.
The women’s courageous faith reminds us that in darkness, light shines through. Christ is risen, and His love is for all who believe. His resurrection brings hope and salvation to the world. The women’s story echoes through time, a testament to the power of faith and the triumph of life over death.
