The Executive Chairman of Nnewi North Local Government, Hon. Echezona Anazodo visited the ongoing Erosion Control site at Mbanagu Otolo nnewi to access the level of work in progress.
The mayor charged the contractor to speed up the completion of the project to help avert destruction of people’s properties and businesses.
He further said that the erosion had previously destroyed people’s properties, commercial buildings and taking lives during rainy season and also posed a threat to the community. He promised to timely deliver the project.
The project is part of the mayor initatives to address erosion issue inline with Prof soludo’s vision of liveable and prosperous homeland.
