The Healthy Living Pad Bank initiative, championed by the Wife of the Anambra State Governor, Dr. Nonye Soludo, continues to advance menstrual dignity and educational inclusion for girls across Anambra State.
This was made known through her publication on the Healthy Living Official Facebook page on July 6. The programme is addressing period poverty by providing free sanitary pads to girls, ensuring menstruation never becomes a barrier to learning, confidence, and personal development.
Beyond distributing menstrual hygiene products, the initiative promotes awareness, encouraging girls to embrace healthy hygiene practices while breaking the stigma surrounding menstruation.

The Healthy Living Pad Bank reflects Dr. Soludo’s commitment to improving the wellbeing of the girl child through practical interventions that support education and equal opportunities.
The programme has continued to restore hope and dignity to beneficiaries, enabling them to remain in school and participate confidently in academic and social activities.
Stakeholders have commended the initiative for promoting inclusive education, empowering young girls, and strengthening efforts to improve menstrual health across communities.
The campaign reinforces the message that every girl deserves access to quality menstrual hygiene products, education, and the opportunity to achieve her full potential.
As the Healthy Living Pad Bank expands its reach, it continues to break barriers against period poverty while building a healthier, more inclusive future for girls in Anambra State.
