The Archbishop of Onitsha and Metropolitan of Onitsha Ecclesiastical Province, His Grace Most Rev. Valerian M. Okeke, has received members of the AMTY Awards team at his office in Onitsha on August 11.
The visit followed the just-concluded 5th Edition of the AMTY Awards, where Archbishop Okeke was honoured as Anambra Person of the Decade in recognition of his leadership and contributions to society.
Receiving the team, the Archbishop expressed gratitude to the organisers for the honour, describing the recognition as an encouragement to continue serving the people and contributing to the development of society.
He also prayed for the AMTY Awards team and encouraged them to sustain their commitment to recognising excellence, leadership and outstanding contributions by individuals across society.
The Archbishop’s interaction with the team further underscored the importance of celebrating individuals whose service and achievements have made meaningful impacts in the state and beyond.
