A Methodist cleric, Presbyter Anomnachi Ogwo, has urged young people to actively participate in politics to ensure the election of God-fearing and visionary leaders.
He made the call during a youth get-together held at St. John’s Methodist Church, Isiowulu Odume, where young men gathered to promote unity and strengthen relationships.
Presbyter Ogwo noted that politics should not be viewed as inherently evil, stressing that positive-minded and God-fearing individuals have a responsibility to transform the political space through active participation.

He encouraged the youths to support credible leaders and emulate good governance, citing Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, as an example of purposeful leadership.
The cleric urged them to contribute to nation-building by participating in elections rather than merely criticizing leadership, adding that meaningful change begins with responsible civic engagement.
He further expressed confidence that Nigeria would become a better nation when people of integrity and godly character occupy positions of authority.

Presbyter Ogwo also appealed to eligible voters to come out in large numbers during the forthcoming elections and vote for leaders who will promote justice, accountability, and national development.
