‎The foundation stone of St. Nicholas Anglican Church, Oduke, in the Ugwuagba Archdeaconry, has been laid and dedicated, marking a significant milestone in the church’s development and the strengthening of Christian worship in the community.
‎
‎The foundation-laying ceremony was officiated by the Chief Shepherd of the Diocese, Rt. Rev. Owen Chiedozie Nwokolo, who led clergy, members of the church, traditional rulers, stakeholders and faithful in the historic ceremony.
‎

‎Addressing the congregation, the Bishop urged members to remain committed to the work of God and challenged them to “attempt great things for God.” He called on the church community to approach the project with faith, dedication and determination, emphasising the importance of collective effort in advancing the work of God and establishing a lasting legacy for future generations.
‎

‎The Diocesan also prayed for divine favour, prosperity and success upon the project, asking God to bless the works of the hands of those contributing to the development of the church. He expressed confidence that the project would be completed to the glory of God and ultimately serve as a centre for worship, spiritual growth and service to humanity.
‎
‎The laying of the foundation stone represents a major step towards the completion of the St. Nicholas Anglican church project, with members and stakeholders expected to sustain their support and commitment until the project is fully realised.
