Members of the newly constituted House Committee on ICT, Innovation and Signage of the Anambra State House of Assembly have paid a familiarisation visit to the Anambra State ICT Agency.
The delegation was led by the Chairman of the Committee, Hon. Patrick Udoba, and included Hon. Noble Igwe and Hon. Emmanuel Nwafor.
The lawmakers were received by the Managing Director/CEO of the Agency, Mr Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata, on October 7.

The visit provided an opportunity for members of the newly constituted Committee to familiarize themselves with the Agency, its mandate and its role in the state’s technology ecosystem.
The Anambra State ICT Agency is responsible for coordinating, regulating and enhancing ICT development across the state, in line with the state’s digital transformation objectives.
The visit comes as technology and innovation continue to play an important role in government operations and public service delivery across the state.
The familiarisation visit further highlights the importance of collaboration among government institutions in advancing technology and digital transformation in Anambra State.
