The Mmimi Communal Union in Nawfia, Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra, on Sept. 28 has commissioned its newly reconstructed communal hall.
The ceremony attracted members of the community, community leaders, dignitaries, friends and well wishers.
Speaking at the event, Chairman of the union, Mr. Anayo Okongwu, thanked members of the community and others who supported the reconstruction of the hall.
Okongwu said the completion of the project demonstrated the importance of collective effort in community development.
He urged members of the community to continue supporting initiatives that promote peace, development and unity in Mmimi.
Also speaking, the Secretary of the union, Hon. Prince Chidolue Nwankwo, appreciated members of the community, friends and well wishers for their support toward the project.
Nwankwo said the occasion marked the completion of the project and reflected the community’s collective effort toward its development.
The hall is expected to provide space for community meetings, social activities and other events.
