The Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Somtochukwu Udeze, Ph.D, has praised the growing collaboration among the Legislature, Executive, and Judiciary as the foundation of the state’s rapid transformation under Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration.
Speaking at the Assembly’s 2nd anniversary celebrations, which commenced with a solemn Holy Mass officiated by the Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Reverend Paulinus Ezeokafor, Speaker Udeze highlighted the seamless synergy across the three arms of government as a driving force behind significant advances in security, economic planning, and social development.
The Speaker cited the passage of the Homeland Security Bill and the establishment of the Operation Udo Ga Achi Security Outfit as prime examples of responsive and effective governance benefiting Ndi Anambra.
As the 8th Assembly prepares to enter its 3rd Session, Speaker Udeze assured citizens and investors alike that the House’s influence and impact on the state’s progress will be even more pronounced.
In a homily delivered by the Chancellor of Awka Diocese, Very Reverend Father Charles Ndubuisi, Bishop Ezeokafor commended the Assembly’s impactful legislative efforts and urged continued lawmaking that fosters the growth and prosperity of Anambra State.
