It was joy, joy all the way, as Anambra South Senatorial Zone celebrates Soludo’s superlative performance in governance, drums support for his second term bid.
The venue was Ekwulobia Township Stadium, in Aguata LGA, on August 2.
The people trooped out in their numbers echoing Solution Availability, establishing that Ekwulobia Main Market known as Eke Ekwulobia which is close to Stadium gladdens heart as the people of the area get close to God.
“It is said that cleanliness is next to godliness. Soludo has indeed developed Ekwulobia in less than 4 years.

“If you knew Ekwulobia before emergence of Soludo, it happens that you have not been to Ekwulobia in the last four years, be assured that Ekwulobia you knew is not same as Ekwulobia today.
“The Flyover at Ekwulobia Round About, Solution Park cum Market, dualized Amawbia, Agulu, Nanka, Ekwulobia, Uga to Imo State Road will confuse you to asking questions on the right road to your destination.
“Even the Stadium in which we are therein is wearing a new look. Story of development of Anambra State under the watch of Soludo is even, within North/Central Zones.
“So, we are not drumming support for his second term in his personal interest but in the interest of Anambra State.”

They enjoined political gladiators to take away politics from building an Anambra of envy to other States, so as not to incure wrath of posterity and history.
Addressing the crowd, Governor Chukwuma Soludo expressed gratitude to Ndi Anambra State, especially Anambra South Senatorial Zone, for organizing the solidarity rally.
“I could not have been anywhere if you did not support me, so do not relent supporting me and Anambra State Government, a tree does not make a forest.
“We have not completed the first tenure yet many things have been achieved.
To solidify achievements, four years is needed for more and better.”
He reminded Ndi Anambra about zoning formula that took gubernatorial office from Central to the North, and back to the South now.
“If a man did it for eight years in the Central and a man in the North for same period, it tantamount to disturbances and distortion of process if the man of South is not allowed to complete eight years.
“It is bundle of falsehood, open deceit hearing from politicians, I am going to do one term of four years.
“It is not reasonable believing them, rather they should be ignored. The taste of food is in the eating. Ndi Anambra judge me with my performance so far.
“Elections in Anambra State are always elective and not selective. Get your voters card ready, we are going to the polls come November 8, and your votes shall count.”
The governor used the occasion to introduce APGA Senatorial Candidate, Chief Emmanuel Nwachukwu for the bye election, to be held on August 16, 2025 to replacing Late Senator Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah.
“It took time and prayers to giving Nwachukwu APGA ticket to running for this election.
“I can assure you, he is the most qualified and suitable for the position. So, go and vote for him come Saturday, August 16.
” We need synergy with Federal House of Assembly to making Anambra State walk tall among states of Nigeria nation and Nwachukwu is the answer.”
Earlier, Chairman of the occasion, Chief Titus Anigbogu told APGA faithfuls not to relax on the fact that Soludo has performed creditably and no viable opposition, but go all out.
“We are not winning them only but disgrace them out of the system.
He added that the joy of political party members is in winning elections not in giving out the party for personal pockets.
He enjoined them to keep brotherhood mantra of the All Progressive Grand Alliance(APGA) in focus in everything they do. “Where to vote is at the cocks column.,”
The occasion had men from all walks of life in attendance.
Prominent among them included; Deputy Governor, Dr Onyekachi Ibezim, Wife of the Governor, Mrs Nonye Soludo, Aguata LGA Chairman, Dr Chibueze Ofobuike, host of Ndi Igwe, captains of industry and other calibres so numerous to mention.
