Cleric has advocated humble supplications and prayers to salvaging Ndi Anambra from bad election that often lead to crisis, lost of lives/property and prolonged bad political terrain.
The man of God, Rev. Fr. Onyebuchi, An Akpo Indigenous Priest on a visiting mission to home Church said this in a homily during Mass, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Akpo, in Aguata LGA, on October 26, saying, “By arm of flesh no man can prevail.
“We are fast approaching election date, November 8, politicians have been campaigning, strategy to win, Independent National Electoral Commission, on the other hand has been dotting ‘I’s and crossing ‘T’s to conduct the election.
“These efforts are good geared at making the election a success, yet there are chances of not succeeding unless God permits. So, we need to bring God into the election by way of prayers, humbling ourselves before God and acknowledging from the dept of our hearts that without him we cannot achieve good election.
“The election if good at the polling boots and the result misses reflecting what inferred in the polling boots then we are bad for it.
“It is your civic responsibility to come out that day and vote in accordance to your conscience, support your efforts with fasting and prayers. We need an Anambra State to be governed.
“In as much as I wish every Guber contender good luck, it is obvious that only one of them shall win. Let us make sure is God ordained that wins and emerges, through humble prayers.
