The Chairman Local Government Service Commission, Chief Vin Ezeaka Esq, has expressed great delight in the huge turn out of enthusiastic crowd during the Ihiala LGA All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) rally organized in favour of Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s re-election.

The event, which took place at Ihiala the headquarters of the council area, drew APGA supporters from the 10 communities in the council area: Mbosi, Azia, Isseke, Lilu, Ubuluisiuzor, Orsumoghu, Okija, Ihiala, Uli and Amorka while some neighbouring communities in the state and beyond were not left out in the historic occasion.

The Chairman noted that the occasion could aptly be described as a carnival to celebrate the man who has brought smiles on the faces of the citizenry and made great impact in the LGA.

He commended the governor for his unparalleled vision and passion in leadership which have endeared him to the people.

Describing the governor’s visit as an act of conviviality to interact with his people and not necessarily to campaign for votes, Chief Ezeaka acknowledged the gesture of the host local government area in their financial gift of N50 million to the Chief servant of the state in appreciation for his good works.

In addition, the LGSC boss noted with joy the mouth watering cash promise pronounced by the governor for wards that will triumph during the November 8 Governorship election.

He further thanked the governor for his visit to St. Jude’s Secondary School Ihiala where he commissioned some building blocks built by the Keystone bank and donated to the school for use.

The Chairman also commended the governor for the ongoing rehabilitation of roads within the old government house and the civil service road in Awka.

He expects the Anambra electorate to vote en masse for the governor to secure his re-election for a second term in office.
