The Mayor of Anaocha LGA, Hon. Rome Ibekwe has commissioned the newly renovated works department building situated within the Secretariat in Neni.
In his remarks, Hon. Ibekwe said that the building was abandoned for so many years hence defacing the compound and giving it a bad image.
He said that the essence of the renovation was to provide a good work atmosphere where members of staff of the department can discharge their duty effectively and have a structured domain to engage administratively.
Hon. Ibekwe said that the dilapidated building made workers to be scattered all over the Secretariat in search of where to find comfort to discharge their duties, saying that the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) led administration in the state is concerned about the welfare of workers.
He, therefore, commended the LG workers for their diligence and commitment to the discharge of their duties to Anaocha LG and the state at large, urging them not to be carried away by fake promises of detractors who want to truncate the ongoing developmental progress in the state, but to have focus and support on the positive impacts of the Governor Soludo led administration in all the areas of government down to the grassroots of all the 21 LGAs of the state.
Hon. Ibekwe while eulogizing the visible achievements of Governor Soludo’s led administration in the state and in Anaocha LGA said that he will continue until he transforms the remaining sectors of the LG. He, however, called on every one to let their conscience on the positive impact of Governor Soludo’s government guide them on casting their vote wisely at the polls.
The Anaocha Head Local Government Administration (HLGA), Dr. Mrs. Ego Okeke said that workers in Anambra State has never had this level of positive impact from the state government which ranges from regular promotions, prompt payment of salaries, training of workers. She extolled Governor Soludo for his commitment to transforming Anambra State.
Present were the local government workers, political appointees and Anaocha APGA stakeholders.
