Chief Dr. Victor Oye (Ozomkpu Amawbia), former National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and a prominent political leader in Anambra State, has commended the electorate for resoundingly and convincingly re-electing Prof. Chukwuma Soludo as Governor of Anambra State.
Chief Oye, who played a key role in the grassroots mobilization leading up to the election, described the just-concluded gubernatorial poll as peaceful, transparent, and a true reflection of the will of the people. He praised Anambra citizens for conducting themselves with dignity and maturity throughout the electoral process.
“I am deeply proud of Ndi Anambra for coming out in large numbers to vote for continuity, progress, and good governance. This election has not only reaffirmed Soludo’s popularity but has also solidified APGA’s position as the true party of the people. The process was smooth, peaceful, and devoid of violence or manipulation. It is a shining example of democratic maturity.”
Chief Oye noted the remarkable voter enthusiasm and orderliness observed across polling units, particularly in Amawbia Ward 3 and beyond. “People voted joyfully and with a clear sense of purpose. Their decision was driven by Governor Soludo’s outstanding performance, especially in areas of infrastructure, education, digital innovation, and environmental reforms. He has demonstrated capacity, vision, and results-oriented leadership.”
He further emphasized that the overwhelming support for APGA at the polls confirms Anambra as the stronghold of the party. “Anambra is and remains APGA territory. The margin of victory is not just significant—it is a message. The people have spoken loudly in favor of excellence, continuity, and integrity.”
Chief Oye expressed confidence that Governor Soludo will consolidate on the gains of his first term and deliver even greater results in his second. “Soludo has laid a solid foundation, and I am confident he will take Anambra to even greater heights in the next four years. He has set a standard that others will follow.”
He also extended gratitude to party stakeholders, traditional rulers, youth groups, women, and supporters across political divides who united to support Soludo’s re-election. “This victory belongs to every Anambra citizen who believes in a better future. Let us now rally behind the Governor and continue to build a prosperous and peaceful state.”
