A Wave of jubilation has swept through Anambra State as residents continue to celebrate Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo’s resounding 21/21 victory at the just-concluded governorship poll.

From Awka to Onitsha, Ihiala to Nnewi, joyous residents took to the streets, singing, dancing, and expressing delight over what they described as a peaceful and transparent election that reaffirmed the will of the people.

Speaking to newsmen, market leaders across major local government areas—Messrs Jude Nwankwo of the Building Materials International Market, Ndubuisi Ochuogu of Ogbaru Relief Market, and Chijioke Okpala of Grain Seed Market, Onitsha—hailed the outcome as a renewed vote of confidence in Soludo’s Solution Agenda and the transformative leadership it embodies.

According to them, the landslide victory “belongs to Ndi Anambra,” acknowledging the unity and resilience of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) family, whose commitment and grassroots mobilization were key to the sweeping success.

They urged all Anambrarians, regardless of political affiliation, to rally behind Governor Soludo to enable him to actualize his vision, dreams, and developmental goals for the state.

“The outcome of this election reflects the growing maturity of Anambra’s political process and the deepening of democratic culture in our state,” they said.

Describing Soludo’s reelection as historic, the market leaders noted that “his return to office—making him only the third governor in Anambra’s history to win a second term—shows that knowledge, discipline, transparency, and prudent management of public resources remain the surest path to earning the people’s trust and mandate.”

They further commended Governor Soludo for bringing discipline, brilliance, and a fresh perspective to governance, noting that his leadership continues to inspire hope for a more prosperous and inclusive Anambra State.
