The Anambra State Physical Planning Board, ANSPPB on May 6, wrapped up its 2 day workshop at King David Hotels Awka, with a strong emphasis on administrative ethics, staff efficiency, and workforce discipline.
The theme for the second and final day was “HIGHLIGHTING THE ROLE OF ADMINISTRATIVE ETHICS AND
EFFICIENCY IN DRIVING PERFORMANCE OF STAFF “

Delivery the keynote paper, Mrs Calista Ibeh of the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs, and Community Development, addressed core responsibilities within the administrative department. She stressed that adherence to ethical standards, proper record keeping, and prompt service delivery are critical to improving staff performance and public confidence in government. When ethics and efficiency guide our work, and productivity increases and the public receives the quality service they deserve.
In a practical session often overlooked at workshops, drivers of the Board were not left out. They received advisory talks on vehicle maintenance, road safety, speed limits. They were urged to uphold safety standards to protect themselves, staff, and the public while on official duties .
Rounding off the workshop, TPL Ajuluchukwu Nwankwo, General Manager, ANSPPB charged participants to apply the knowledge gained in their respective departments, and units.
The training is only valuable if it translates into improved conduct and output at work. Let every lesson reflects in how you serve the people of Anambra.
Participants described the two-day engagement as impactful and said it had reinforced their commitment to professionalism, accountability and safety.
The workshop aligns with ANSPPB’s broader goal of building a disciplined workforce to support Governor Soludo’s agenda for a Livable and sustainable Anambra.
